Rory Mac
In August 1998, watching the Radio 1 Roadshow at Great Yarmouth, I knew that I wanted to bring music to the masses. I started with old decks and speakers, trying to mix dance music, but it didn’t quite take off.
In 2018, a chance invite to Black Cat 107 reignited my passion. I launched “Iconic 80’s,” then moved into dance music with my show “Dance Heaven,” sharing the sounds that shaped me.
By day, I’m a fibre optic engineer and a former emergency services worker. Off-air, I’m into rugby, football, paddleboarding, and countryside walks with my dog.
If you lived for those warehouse and field parties, join me on Black Cat Radio and relive those dancefloor memories.
