Andrew Ellinas

My passion for radio ignited during the final days of offshore stations like Radio Caroline and London.
At 15, I began DJing at mobile discos and volunteering at hospital radio.
My first professional role was with the United Biscuits Network (UBN), a pioneering internal station broadcasting 24/7 to factories across the UK. UBN served as a launchpad for many future radio stars, including Roger Scott and Dale Winton .
Following UBN, I held positions at BBC Radio Oxford, Mercia Sound, BBC Radio Bedfordshire, BBC Three Counties Radio, and Jazz FM.
Now, I'm proud to be part of the Black Cat Radio team, continuing to engage listeners and share my love for broadcasting.
