Bedford Hockey Stars Shine for England
Bedford’s Vincent Pretorius and Dave Appleton starred in England’s Over 35s and Over 40s teams at the Four Nations.
Vincent scored three goals in England’s tournament win in Cork, while Dave helped his side to victory in Cardiff—both now eye the European Championships in Valencia this June.
Kelly Bingham is also heading to Valencia with England’s Women’s Over 45s, as more Bedford players impress on the Masters’ stage.

A record day for prostate cancer awareness
In an extraordinary event on Saturday 5th September, men were queueing to be tested for prostate cancer, thanks to a campaign run by local man Dave Young. This programme picks up conversations with the organiser, attendees, supporters and the medical team.
Every weekday afternoon is a surprise with these guys. Great chat, great music and great company.
