The Women’s 2s provided the highlight of a tough weekend, securing a 4–1 home win against Wisbech 2s.
After conceding early, Sue Glover brought Saints level before Ness Wilson gave them the lead heading into half-time. Glover doubled her tally early in the second half, and Hayley Doyle completed the scoring to seal three points.
The Men’s 2s saw their unbeaten run ended in dramatic fashion against Bourne Deeping 2s. Chris Butterworth converted a short corner to open the scoring, and Owen Edwards made it two shortly after the break. Bourne responded with two goals in quick succession before finding a late winner and adding a fourth from a short corner in the final moments.
The Men’s 1s were beaten 7–3 at home by Bourne Deeping 1s, despite a strong first-half fightback sparked by Nick Hipwell, Brad Forsdick, and Jake French. The Women’s 1s lost 5–2 away at Spalding, with Amy Wilkinson scoring twice from set pieces.
Elsewhere, the Men’s 3s were beaten 5–0 at Cambridge City 5s, the Women’s 3s lost 8–0 at Oundle 1s, and the Women’s 4s were edged out 3–2 at home by City of Peterborough 5s, with Ness Wilson and Sue Glover again on target.
